Visit Gatun Lake, a large artificial lake to the south of Colón, Panama. A major part of the Panama Canal, it carries ships for 33 km (21 mi) of their transit across the Isthmus of Panama. At the time it was created (1907-1913,) Gatun Lake was the largest man-made lake in the world.
Casco Viejo is the historic district of Panama City. Along with Pa Panamá Viejo it has been a World Heritage Site since 1997.

A visit to Panama is not complete without a visit to the Embera Village. We will overnight at the village with the Embera indigenous people. Lunch, dinner, breakfast will be prepared by the indigenous people, in their traditional style.
The Panama Canal is the 77 km ship canal in Panama that connects the Atlantic Ocean (via the Caribbean Sea) to the Pacific Ocean. France started the canal in 1881. The United States then took over the project in 1904, and took a decade to complete it. It was officially opened on August 15, 1914

The Panama Canal Railway runs along the canal, across the Isthmus of Panama to Colon on the Caribbean.
Panamá Viejo is the remaining part of the old Panama City and former capital of the country. It is located in the suburbs of the modern city.
