9km away from Pointe-à-Pitre, Gosier is a beautiful coastal town in Grande-Terre

Located to the East of Gosier, Sainte Anne is reputed for its numerous tourism-related activities.

The Pointe des châteaux is a peninsula that extends into the Atlantic Ocean from the Eastern coast of the island of Grande-Terre, in Guadeloupe.

Le Moule is on Grand-Terre Island which is a limestone plateau. The city extends along the north shore of the Atlantic coast, 51 km northeast of Pointe-a-Pitre. Its relief has an exceptional quality of life that is benefited first by the people, then agriculture and tourism.

The town is perhaps most well known for its elaborate cemetery. It is twinned with the capital of Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.

Basseterre is the administrative capital of Guadeloupe. Located in the southwest of Guadeloupe, the town lies at the bottom of the Soufriere volcano.

It was the site of the French-English battle for Guadeloupe, and also the site of the Guadeloupean anti-slavery uprising against led by Louis Delgrès. It was recognized as a historical monument in 1977.

Opened in 1985, it is one of the most visited locations in Guadeloupe. It has the largest collection of sea creatures in the entire Caribbean.

Marie-Galante, referred to as the island of 100 windmills is a smaller island located 30km to the southeast of mainland Guadeloupe.

Economic activities are mainly agriculture and fishing, and tourism.
